Phase Converter - Need One?

My services begin with powerfully good information,

a good price, then hard work.
Finding the right product for your needs is what we do best.  We make it easy and economical finding the correct size a phase converter for the application.
Just give us a call with your specifications, and we will tell you what model phase converter will work best. Phase Converters can be used with any type of three phase load. Have more than one piece of equipment? Phase converters can also handle multiple loads. Not all brand phase converters have this capability. Your property should have the highest value phase converters for the present and future equipment loads and meeting technology specifications in years to come.

3Phase - 2Phase Electrical Services with costs and information for Philadelphia.

Phase Converters generate 3-phase electricity with an active hybrid generator which runs on single phase power. This technology is utilized to ensure the greatest possible return on your investment in terms of life span and energy consumption. This provides a smooth waveform to ensure longevity of your equipment, as well as proper running operation.  Rotary Phase Converters are excellent for providing quality 3 phase power converted from single phase.
Electrical power, modifications, transformers and repairs for Commercial / Industrial Facilities.
A 3-pole full-voltage magnetic motor starter is made up of the following components: a set of stationary contacts, a set of movable contacts, pressure springs, a solenoid coil, a stationary electromagnet, a set of magnetic shading coils, and the moving armature.

Two-Phase Electric Service?
Ask me about it.

GET Action -AND- Information about Phase Converters.

Ask me about the variety of applications for: elevators, computers, pumps, welders, ovens and pizza mixers. A phase converter is a device that converts electric power provided as single phase to multiple phase or vice-versa. The majority of phase converters are used to produce three phase electric power from a single-phase source, thus allowing the operation of three-phase equipment at a site that only has single-phase electrical service. Phase converters are used where three-phase service is not available from the utility, or is too costly to install due to a remote location. A utility will generally charge a higher fee for a three-phase service because of the extra equipment for transformers and metering and the extra transmission wire. determine the size of phase converter you will need to power your equipment. Remember - using a larger phase converter than you currently need is safe, but one that is too small will not work. Ask us about why phase converters are selected: 3 phase power source, Phase Converter uses, Rotary Phase Converter and Static Converter.

Transformers
Step up, step down,
buck-boost.

The ratio of the peak voltages and peak currents in the primary and secondary windings are determined by the ratio of the number of turns in the primary and secondary windings.  The latter ratio is usually called the turn ratio of the transformer.  If the secondary winding contains less turns than the primary winding, the peak voltage in the secondary circuit is less than that of the primary circuit.

Let me be your in-house electrician.
I know the old-school electrical ways - Keeping the cost down!
I make repairs to fused disconnects,
magnetic motor starters, electromagnetically operated contacts,
push buttons for equipment - start & stop and remote control.

I do the research needed for the connected motor load and particular control circuits with momentary contact devices.  Connections to the coil of the magnetic motor starter performs this start and stop function.

What to do when 3 Phase is needed.
The answer  -  Three Phase Converters.

You can generate 3 phase power with a Rotary Phase Converter.

Many properties in the city are stuck with the oldest type of commercial electrical service "two-phase". This was the norm 100 years ago, many properties are permanently wired for it so it remains active today. This photo is typical of a two-phase service.

A "Phase Converter" is the most cost effective way to produce three phase power from any electrical service.

Basically it's an electrical motor / generator.

Single phase input.
Three phase output.

Phase converters, in recent years, have expanded dramatically in industrial and commercial applications. Resistive load applications, Multi-speed applications, Multi-motor applications and Quiet operation, Simple installation, 4 Year Warranty, 220V and 460V Models, Causes no interference to radio, TV, or computer equipment.

Output Voltage 208-240, Input Phase AC 1, 3, Input 125 Amps, 55, (Largest Motor size).
Phase Converter Rotary 50-300HP 460V.
Technology has come a long way since the first-phase converter was invented almost 100 years ago for the locomotive and hydropower industries. Now there are hundreds of companies, large and small, manufacturing phase converters, and you will find a wide array of prices, power quality, voltage, efficiency and versatility. Before buying your phase converter, always check on your manufacturer to make sure you get a quality phase converter that will offer you years of service. Make sure they stand behind their products and check on their customer service. With this site, we will help you better understand these matters and make it easier to select the right phase converter that best suits your operational requirements. Phase converters, in recent years, have expanded dramatically in industrial and commercial applications. This trend is driven by economic factors including utility charges for expending three-phase lines, construction delays in obtaining new service, and limited availability of single-phase equipment. Utilities are under great pressure from regulatory agencies to justify capital investments before granting rate increases. They respond by scrutinizing requests for service extensions. If the investment in expending a customer line can't be paid back fast enough through energy revenues, the utility will charge the customer for the installation of the power lines needed for the new service.
